Sesame Seed

Found that, sesame seed is indeed a nice food !!!
it is high in iron, calcium, magnesium, copper..and....lots more =)

Lets see what is its' other functions...

Sesame seeds contain two unique substances:
sesamin and sesamolin. Both of these substances belong to a group of special beneficial fibers called lignans, and have been shown to have a cholesterol-lowering effect in humans, and to prevent high blood pressure and increase vitamin E supplies in animals. Sesamin has also been found to protect the liver from oxidative damage.

The high copper contains provide relief for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Copper can reduce the pain and swelling of Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is because copper is important in a number of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant enzyme systems.

Copper also provide structure, strength & elasticity in blood vessels, bones and joints due to its role in the activity of lysyl oxidase, an enzyme needed for the cross-linking of collagen and elastin.

Magnesium, supports vascular & respiratory health:
  • prevent airway spasm in asthma
  • lower high blood pressure
  • prevent trigeminal blood vessel spasm that triggers migraine attacks
  • restore normal sleep patterns in women who experiencing unpleasant symptoms associated with menopause
Calcium, of course helps in preventing osteoporosis, migraine, PMS, and colon cancer.
Much of the calcium found in seed hulls ( about 60%). However, large oart of the calcium esxist in the form of calcium oxalate, which is less absorbable by our body.

Zinc-rich sesama seeds can protect older men from osteoporosis as low intake and low blood levels of zinc is clearly correlated to osteoporosis at hip and spine in a study done on men, that published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

That time i was very stressed with all assignments and some unhappy things that happened on me. I really hope that i can go for a trip and rest my mind. Thank you to my lovely friends Beh and Joanne for making my dream come true =)
We have choose Teluk Nipah Resort because it is cheaper with a wide coverage of activities there. We have chosen a student package which covered activities as below:

Inside 'Our Ferry' ^^ Not enough sits so we have to stand ~~

Outside 'Our Ferry'
standing ourside is better as we can ENJOY the sea breeze and Hot Sun

The next day, we do not have any activities anymore as we already finished all on the first day. We went for a beach walk and enjoying the nature of Pangkor Island.

After that, we decided to pay extra RM45 for a ride around the island as it is not included in our student's package. Basically that ride covered three places, which is Fu Ling Gong (福灵公), Satay Factory, and Kota Belanda.

Mini Great Wall of China / 迷你万里长城

Nice features along the way when we going up the hill.

Very fast, it came to the end of our trip. I gave my farewell to my friends as I still need to wait for another 2 hours for my bus to Teluk Intan. I took this chance to take a look around the sea side of Lumut and manage to take some pictures as the buildings that decorating the Lumut Waterfront are very nice .
