During my Community Service at Teluk Intan ~ I have been visiting some nearby places in June with the help of some KIND Friends as my tourist guide =P
I discovered lots of new things and lots of palatable foods =)
Teluk Intan Leaning Clock Tower
Year Built = 1885
Height = 25.5m
Purpose = Water tank @ third level
Reason of leaning = tilt about 1.8m to the left, Jalan Bandar, between 1889-1895 due to soft ground.
World War ll (1941-1945) = used by Japanese army as watch tower.
It is really nice as we never saw before and never knew that it can change color. It started to shine with different colors when evening arrives.
Here is a view of the Teluk Intan Night Market.... I can see the Leaning Clock Tower =) |
